Our systems enable the emission-free propulsion and operation of any type of vehicle or other high power demand application without any drawbacks on uptime, cost or lifetime.

Our heavy-duty fuel cell systems are designed around PEM-stacks and can be considered plug-and-play modules. They are all-in-one packages, with integrated control systems, energy management systems, thermal control and a DCDC converter that can deliver directly to a battery of choice.

The system has been designed with a modular power system in mind. Multiple modules can be connected to the application’s electric DC power bus to supply higher power capacities up to (multi-)megawatt applications. Alternative packaging concepts for rooftop or machine room applications are available.

Our compact gensets are ready-to-go, zero-emission alternatives for conventional generators.
They convert hydrogen into off-grid, cost-effective, zero-emission power. Output interfaces are fully customizable, with both DC and AC options available, ranging from CCS2 fast chargers to Powerlock connections.

Hydrogen Yard Tractor YT203-H2
In Rotterdam, passengers can board a water taxi running on hydrogen. It was the world’s first commercial boat of this scale to operate entirely on this zero-emission fuel. The hydrogen-water taxi was developed by the SWIM consortium.
Zepp.solutions developed the hydrogen fuel cell system and hydrogen storage system for a new training vessel for the STC Group. The 67 meter-long ship will be used for the practical training of students of maritime courses. The ‘Ab Initio’ entered service in September 2022.
The development of a hydrogen fuel cell generator set. The genset will be built around zepp.solutions' X150 fuel cell system and is designed to power a battery-electric crane vessel.
Development and implementation of a scalable hydrogen fuel cell system for maritime applications.
Two Liebherr 916 Litronic wheeled excavators were outfitted with zepp.Y50 hydrogen fuel cell systems and hydrogen storage solutions.
Within the DreamH2aul project, zepp.solutions will develop a hydrogen fuel cell system with an extremely high power density. This system will be integrated into 2 semi-trucks that will carry enough hydrogen tanks for a range of at least 600 km. These trucks will refuel green hydrogen at a public filling station that will be realized within the project on the important North Sea-Baltic TEN-T Corridor.
TULIPS is a consortium with 29 airports, airlines, knowledge institutes and industrial partners aiming to develop innovations that facilitate the transition to low-carbon mobility and enhance sustainability at airports. One of the planned projects is the development of a HGPU (Hydrogen Ground Power Unit) by zepp.solutions.
Supply hydrogen fuel cell systems for zero-emission river cruise vessel. This initiative, largely funded by the Dutch Maritime Master Plan, aims to introduce hydrogen as a clean energy source in the river cruise industry by developing a fully zero-emission demonstration vessel.
Terberg Benschop B.V. and zepp.solutions B.V. joined forces for the development of a fuel cell yard tractor, the YT203-H2. The objective of this collaboration is the development, testing and demonstration of a hydrogen fuel cell yard tractor, optimized for the demanding operations of a conventional Terberg tractor.
Within project PHYREX, a LH2 fuel cell range extender is developed for a general aviation research aircraft. This project is a collaboration with NLR, to enable manned flights on liquid hydrogen in 2026.
This major Dutch partnership aims at building a hydrogen system for aircraft, completely green, from fuel to propulsion. The system will be scalable to larger aircraft.
Introducing Europa – the first hydrogen-powered truck that doesn’t require compromises. With a range of more than 700km and the ability to pull an ISO trailer (13.6m / 45ft container), Europa offers the same payload capacity and workflow as a diesel equivalent.
