Calculate and compare your H2 truck
Total Cost of Ownership

Use this tool to calculate and compare your Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for different trucks, including that of the zepp.europa (hydrogen fuel cell), an H2ICE truck (hydrogen internal combustion engine), and a traditional diesel truck.
This calculation includes all capital costs, maintenance, driver costs and fuel cost, as well as the (Dutch) heavy goods vehicle charge costs.
An important part of this tool is the ability to see the impact of the Dutch SWIM subsidy. The Temporary Subsidy Scheme for Zero Emission Mobility (SWIM) is an initiative of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management that encourages investments in hydrogen refuelling stations and zero-emission hydrogen vehicles. The aim of the scheme is to reduce CO2 emissions and air pollutants by promoting the switch to zero-emission vehicles.
The SWIM grant supports Dutch companies to purchase new emission-free hydrogen vehicles and build or upgrade hydrogen refuelling stations. Use our TCO tool to find out how you can benefit from the SWIM subsidy to optimise your transport costs.
¹ Based on market-available vehicles of same class as zepp.europa.
² Calculation based on assumptions about realistic use.
- Depreciation period of 8 years
- Residual value after depreciation period of 10%
- Driver cost 40 €/h
- Driving to H2 refueling station adds 10 km to every filling compared to diesel vehicle
- AdBlue consumption is 5% of total fuel consumption for H2ICE and diesel vehicles
- Applied zero-emission tax benefits are based on Dutch market
The TCO tool above is only able to provide a generic overview of the Total Cost of Ownership. In order to provide a custom and detailed insight into how the SWiM subsidy might benefit the transport costs of your business, we would be glad to walk you through our complete TCO tool.

Europa is the first hydrogen-electric truck that doesn’t require compromises. With a range of more than 700km and the ability to pull an ISO trailer (13.6m / 45ft container), Europa offers the same payload capacity and workflow as a diesel equivalent. But unlike diesel trucks, Europa is 100% emission-free.
