After making headlines last month with the christening of the hydrogen-electric watertaxi featuring their Y50 system, zepp.solutions keeps up the momentum and announced the unveiling of their X150 system to take place on day 1 of the IAA. This heavy-duty hydrogen fuel cell system has been designed with a modular setup in mind. Multiple 150 kW modules can be combined to supply power to (multi-)megawatt applications.
Turnkey system
The completely integrated supply scope of the zepp.X150 fuel cell system makes it an ideal drop-in solution. All control and subsystems required to turn hydrogen into high voltage electrical power are integrated into the module. It can directly be connected to the vehicle’s DC power bus, minimizing engineering efforts and costs in the integration process. The X150 sets itself apart from the competition as the turnkey module with the highest power density.
Trucks for demonstration
Multiple pre-orders have already been placed. One of the projects demonstrating the unique power density of the X150 system is DREAMH2AUL. In this project, zepp.solutions develops two trailer tractors for Vos Transport and BCTN Group. These semi trucks will be the first fully hydrogen-electric trucks able to tow any combination under European legislation and will be delivered in 2023. More details about this project will also be presented at the IAA.
IAA premiere
The new module will be on display at the zepp.solutions booth at the IAA Transportation in Hanover on September 20-25th, where the executive team of zepp.solutions will be available to answer any questions. The booth can be found in Hall 19-20, at booth number A2054.
