Mechanic System Assembly

This (full time) job is new to our growing team. As we ramp up production in addition to design and development, we need more technical and practical hands-on people to assemble our systems.

If you are interested in us, we are probably interested in you too. So introduce yourself to us and we’ll see if we’re a match for each other.

What we offer

We offer you the opportunity to use your technical talent in a small international team of 15 people. We challenge you to learn and grow.

You will work together with our engineers and be involved in the entire development process. You will also have regular contact with your other colleagues, for example during the weekly meeting, the joint lunch or (super)market walk.

You will experience with us how our company will grow in the coming years and make the world a little nicer and cleaner with our hydrogen solutions.

Task description

  • You will mostly be assembling the systems developed by our engineers. You will do this in our workshop in Rotterdam and Delft, together with your colleagues from Mechanical Engineering. We take the time to train you well and to teach you about hydrogen technology.
  • Once you have mastered the assembly and begin to understand the systems, you can join your colleagues to install the systems at the customer’s site.

What you bring

  • You have practical (education and) experience (3-5 yrs) with the assembly of complex installations. For instance high voltage systems, high pressure tank installations, assembly of frames.
  • You can work in a structured and precise manner.
  • You work well with colleagues.
  • You have a sense of responsibility.
  • You have sufficient proficiency in Dutch and English to communicate with your colleagues.
  • You want to grow in a small team and face technical challenges together.

Note this

  • Temporary contract with a prospect of permanent employment
  • 40-hour work week, time for time principle, working hours by mutual agreement
  • Salary €2.400 – €3.000
  • 8% vacation pay
  • 30 vacation days per year (1 fte)
  • Commuting allowance of 0,21 €/km, max €225/month
  • Workplace at RDM in Rotterdam and at our headquarters (+workshop) in the historic center of Delft.
  • Regular team outings and Board Game Nights for enthusiasts.
  • Starting date is flexible

You can apply to this vacancy with a cover letter and CV. Please include in your cover letter how you have gained practical experience and what you find appealing about this job.

For the selection procedure, we use an objective recruitment and selection method. After the letter-and-CV selection, there will be a round of interviews. If necessary, a second round of interviews will take place. Alternatively, an employment interview will be held.
